This song has been on replay! It ministers to my weary soul in so many ways.
It reminds me that I am loved, covered, forgiven and not alone. It reminds me that nothing can separate me from God's love. Nothing I've done can change His love for me. Nothing I face today or tomorrow will I have to walk alone. It reminds me that in this life I will have opposition. I will face many seasons of "fires" that I will walk through but the beauty of these "fires" is I'm not walking alone. He is walking with me. It reminds me of ALL the PAST "fires" He's brought me out from...untouched! It reminds me that I will NEVER be alone and I never ever have to fear anything so long as my Savior is walking beside me.
It goes hand and hand with Psalm 23 for me.
"The Lord IS my shepherd, I shall not want"
It reminds me He is guiding me and He is ALL I need.
