In an ever changing world with unreachable and unrealistic standards, I have watched believers get swayed into trying to mimic the same standards of the world. It’s easy to believe if we haven’t attained certain accomplishments that the world says gives us worth, then we are useless in this world. As I listen to this song I’m totally encouraged that my standards and goals should remain in what God says. If we want anything in this life, if we want to become anyone, if we want to give anything our all, we should always desire it to be a reflection of our relationship with Christ. As bringing Him glory stays our main goal, we won’t be easily swayed to the ways of the world. And we will in fact be more like Him.
Psalm 34:8- Taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man that trusts in Him
