2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
This verse speaks about a new creation. We know this is about being regenerated spiritually, as we see our physical body fading away, we might want to be physically regenerated also. When we came to Christ, we lived a certain way and as we turned from sin we are to live in a new way.
The trouble is the flesh wants to continue as it did before, fulfilling the flesh’s natural desires. Our job is to get in step with the Holy Spirit and submit to His leading. The new man must live for Christ because of the work that washed us from sin. Often we do pretty well in the church setting, but I tell you, the challenge is when no one is watching.
Romans 12:2, "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
This passage tells us that we have to change the way we think. The world’s way is different than the Christian. In our old life, it was about us first. The new life in Jesus is about putting others before us. This life is contrary to the world, so if we are going in the opposite way of the carnal world we do well.
We know that it is not easy to walk as Jesus did, but we have the Holy Spirit to empower us every single day. Granted, we will never be perfect in this body, but thank God that we are not who we used to be.
Pray daily that God would transform our lives.

From Erma V. - My granddaughter Ember was born yesterday and weighed 5lbs 3oz. She may not be able to come home due to her weight and being considered a preemie. Her oxygen levels are good and so are her blood levels. Please remember her in your prayers.
Please pray for salvation for Carole, Molly, Jason, Karen and Mike. May God create those divine appointments that have them open their hearts and experience HIS goodness.
Please pray for Brett. He prayed to receive Christ last Saturday. May God help him to grow in his relationship with God.
Sandra L. – Please pray for as the hysterectomy will be performed Tuesday, February 23; that all or any cancer cells left will be GONE! Also pray for a smooth recovery with no complications and for chemo not to be necessary. Pray for strength and for GOD to fill me with HIS perfect peace and for my faith to carry me all the way through; for my anxiety to be gone, forever. Juliet - Please continue to pray for our dear sister who will be having surgery this Tuesday, February 23 to remove a mass from her spine. That the Lord will have His hand upon all the details, that the mass will NOT be cancerous, that it will not be intertwined within the nerves of her spine, and will be able to be completely removed. Pray Julie to sense God's presence as she will not be able to have her family with her, and for the recovery to be swift.
Norah Rae - please continue to pray for this precious little one to grow healthy and strong; we praise God she is home with mommy and daddy now.
