Isaiah 43:18-19, "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah prophesied 100 years prior, that the disobedient nation of Israel would be conquered and taken captive to Babylon. But in God’s mercy and unfailing love, He would deliver them after 70 years of exile and bring them back and restore His people.
Maybe you have been caught up with the challenges of life and have lost focus in Jesus. Maybe you have allowed compromise and sin in your life.
As we cry out to Him in repentance, God in His unfailing love and grace will deliver us from the many elements of life that tend to captivate us and discourage us and even make us lose hope.
God who is rich in mercy, will bring beauty out of ashes and will restore to us the years that the swarming locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25).
God not only wants to deliver us from a life of captivity, but He wants to restore us to Himself and start a new work in us and through us. This scripture exhorts us on the need to put the things of the past behind and look forward to the exciting new work He is calling us to.
As He promised His people a path in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, this new path He has for us, as challenging as it may seem, will be one that is empowered and will be fruitful for His glory.
For 2021, I pray we would all be obedient to His new work.

TODAY'S PRAYER REQUESTS:
Please pray for a funeral which will be taking place today at 3PM, at CC El Monte. May the Lord Himself touch all the hearts of those who will be attending.
Praise Report: Edgardo (2/11) He was discharged from hospital today and is now home with Rose and Emmanuel. He is stronger; no more IV’s or blood transfusions and so thankful for all the prayers over these last four weeks. Dr said he is Covid free now, is recovering but will continue to be monitored.
Please pray for Adrian Diaz Jr. Salvation
Please pray for the salvation of my son Michael. Ask God to do whatever it takes to get his attention and convict him by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Dale – Recuperating from a stroke. Pray for full healing.
Ries Family - Pray for Sharon and Pastor Ries. Sharon currently has 5 tumors in her body and one of them is very aggressive. Pray for the Lord’s will on healing, strength, and peace. Pray also for Pastor Raul who continues to have seizures.
Julie - Upcoming surgery on February 23. Peace and encouragement for the entiire family.
Baby Norah Rae - Continued growth and stability. Peace and encouragement for the entiire family.
