Isaiah 61:1-3, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
Isaiah prophesied about the coming Messiah, the anointed One. Jesus confirmed the fulfillment of this prophecy as He entered the synagogue and opened the scroll to Isaiah 61 saying, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing”.
As believers, His anointing power delivers us from the poverty of sin. We know our hearts are by nature corrupt, but He is the only One who can search out and sanctify the heart of man.
As we surrender to Him, He is our chain-breaker who can set us free from bondage to drugs, alcohol, pornography, or lust.
For those who may be heavy laden, Jesus brings comfort, strength, and peace. He restores and rebuilds the broken down areas and can make beauty out of ashes. He is the only One that can bring fullness of joy to our lives, even in times of crisis.
Thank You, Lord, that You are the One we praise, for You have covered us in Your righteousness, and have given us Your living Word, that You may be glorified through us in whatever season You have ordained for us.

Juliet G. - Continual prayer for Juliet who has a mass on her spinal cord. Pray for strength, peace, and healing. She underwent an MRI and other procedures - waiting for results due in today.
Baby Norah Rae. Please continue to pray for this precious little girl who was born on January 14 and is need of our prayers. Please also pray for mommy Raelene and for daddy Raymond, for strength and peace. May our Lord be glorified through it all.
For our Nation - that we would return to the Lord and that He would have His hand upon us. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
Cristina P. - She is still congested and having trouble sleeping, she is also experiencing bouts of dizziness. Please pray for her recovery. Please also pray for Albert P. who is taking care of his mother; that his employer would be understanding.
